Q: What is APPSF?
A: APPSF is a professional organization of physicians created to bring
together doctors from a common culture.
Q: What are short term objectives of APPSF?
A: To provide a medium for a variety of activities for physicians and
their families and friends.
Q: Can you give any examples of such
activities?
A:
- Medical education and information seminars and meetings
- Cultural events (musical or literary evenings with world famous personalities)
- Children's educational and self improvement programs ( e.g. school debates at middle school and high school levels)
- Annual functions at a large scale to integrate not only physicians but also the rest of the Pakistani-American community of South Florida
- Social and volunteer work, by physicians either directly or indirectly as a public service
- Administer social work on a volunteer basis in our community and specially for those Pakistan-American who might need guidance in a newly adopted society
- Be flexible to the changing needs of our physician and general community and provide services as needed
Q: Is APPSF affiliated with a political or
government organization?
A: NO. Proudly, the only organization APPSF is affiliated
with (and is a local chapter of) is the Association of Physicians of
Pakistani-descent of North America

which is well known for educational, humanitarian and philanthropic work
in the USA and abroad.
APPSF is also completely non-partisan in regards to local or national
politics.
Q: Does APPSF have any religious
affiliations?
A: NO. APPSF is an a-religious group and no religion plays any
part in the workings of the organization.
Q: Are donations to APPSF tax deductible?
A: APPSF is a registered organization and is also registered (in
affiliation with APPNA) with the Internal Revenue Services as a 501(3)c
entity, which means any donations to APPSF for charity are
tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
