President's message:

Assalam-O-Alaikum & Happy New Year,
I would like to thank the membership for giving me the opportunity to serve APPSF as the President. I pledge to work hard to make this organization as one of the most vibrant chapters of APPNA. The membership and the community deserve a lot of credit for their support and enthusiasm in the past and I hope to see the same vigor in the future.
I would like to thank our immediate past President Dr. Iftikhar Hanif and his team for a marvelous job, they have done to get APPSF through its early stages. Mrs. Fouzia Hanif deserves no less compliment for supporting APPSF whole-heartedly.
I would like to take this opportunity to present you an outline of the events, we have planned for the year 2007. The programs are as follows:
- “Ek Shaam Urdu Ke Naam / Bazm-e-Ghazal with Munni Begum”
Saturday, March 17, 7 p.m at Rajpoot Mehfil Restaurant, Fort Lauderdale. - The Second Annual Youth Debate
Saturday, May 5th, 2007. - APPSF Annual Function 2007
Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Marriot Biscayne Bay Resort.
In addition to our main events, we are actively working on CME/Educational lectures, social work projects and community programs. The details of these programs will be available soon on our website (www.appsf.org) and in the newsletters. I would urge our members to renew their membership for APPNA and APPSF for the year 2007 before March 31.
I am looking forward to working with you, to bring
the membership and the community together. This joint effort will help
us all get in the main stream of America and utilize the full potential
of our youths and adults alike, to become better Pakistani Americans.
